まず、率直な感想を言わせてください。
何と言いますかこう「ジワジワ感」がメチャクチャすごいと感じました、ソーサリアン…（驚）
ドッシリ、ジックリ、ジワジワ
イースシリーズはわりとSNSでもサラッと流れていく雰囲気がずっとしていたのですが、ソーサリアンはドッシリ、ジックリ、ジワジワ、グイグイといった印象が強く、一晩過ぎても後から後からファンの方が折り重なって迫ってくる・・・（良い意味で）そんなイメージがしました。

念がへばりついている（褒）
やはりゲーム性の違いが大きいのでしょうか。名前も性別も職業もパーティも自由に編成でき、時間軸まで委ねられている、しかも継承までできる。遊べる世界も選択できる上にバリエーションが多岐にわたる。それらを通じて「心血を注いで育てた」キャラクターへの愛着が、まるで念の如くへばりついている気がしました（褒）

クリスティとアイリーナ
あと、話は変わりますが、初期設定ではウィザードの女性が「クリスティ」、エルフの女性が「アイリーナ」という名前なんですね。こちらの2キャラは服飾もそうですが、大変な人気ぶりの様子。取説にもある「旅立ちの書」によれば、アイリーナは勝ち気なエルフの娘で、報奨金で友達と村を再建するとかすごい設定で描かれていました。
謎のクリスティ
一方、女性ウィザードのクリスティは「旅立ちの書」には登場せず、男性ウィザードのザハラン（野心家）だけが描かれています。要するに設定上は謎（？）。これってもはや、今の時代だと女性ウィザードは「二次創作でガンガンにイメージ膨らませてください」と言っているようなものじゃないでしょうか・・・^^;（はて？ちがいますかね）
ファルコムに謀られた
一番人気の女性キャラの設定・ストーリー（後付を除く）が「謎」とかって、もはや「謀られた」としか思いようがない、そんなことを38年越しに感じて過ごした土曜日なのでした（時間が湯水のごとく消え去った・・・）

How do I put it... this “slow-burn vibe” is absolutely insane, Sorsarian... (Wow)
Solid, steady, slow-burn
The Ys series has always had this vibe where it kinda just flows by on social media, but Sorcerian feels solid, steady, slow-burn, and relentless. Even after a night has passed, fans keep piling up, wave after wave... (in a good way) That's the image I got.

The aura clings to it (compliment)
I suppose the difference in gameplay is significant. You can freely customize names, genders, jobs, and party members, even controlling the timeline, and characters can be passed down. You can choose the world you play in, and the variations are vast. Through all this, the attachment to characters you've poured your heart and soul into nurturing feels like it clings to you like a spirit (compliment).

Christie and Irina
Also, changing the subject, the default names for the female wizard and female elf are “Christie” and “Irina,” respectively. These two characters, along with their outfits, seem incredibly popular. According to the “Book of Departure” included in the manual, Irina is a spirited elf girl with an amazing backstory—she plans to rebuild her village with her friends using bounty money.
The Mysterious Christie
On the other hand, the female wizard Christie doesn't appear in the “Book of Departure” at all. Only the male wizard Zaharan (the ambitious one) is featured. Basically, she's a mystery in the lore (?). Honestly, in this day and age, it almost feels like they're saying, “Go ahead and create tons of fan-made female wizards”… ^^; (Huh? Or am I wrong?)
Tricked by Falcom
The most popular female character's setting and story (excluding retcon) being “mysterious”? I can only think I've been tricked. That's what I felt this Saturday, 38 years later (time just flew by...)
