#20時から打ち合わせあるのすっかり忘れてた💦
昨日、何人かの方が「イース絵師」に関して取り上げてくださったので、
本日はそのお話を。
イース絵師
「なんだそれは？」
”イース絵師”とは八刻堂が数日前に作った造語です。
（日本ファルコムが提唱、または推奨している造語及びタグではございません）
そもそも、2-3日前まで多少なりとも刺さるようなワードだとは1㍉も考えておらず。
あくまで八刻堂のハチから絵師さんに対して、
「この素敵なイラストで今日のブログ記事を書かせてください！」
と許可を取ってお願いするために使った「呼称」にすぎません。
前提条件はあるけど、曖昧さは残しつつザックリ以下のとおり。
「イースが好き ※SNS等で投稿している」
「イースのキャラクターなどを描いたことがある」
を意識して、そう呼んだつもりです。
ちなみに、
「何枚描いた」
「何種類のキャラを描いた」
「全シリーズのうちいくつ網羅している」
等は、特段気にしていません。
公式ライセンサーである日本ファルコムの立場で考えると、
既存ファンの維持ももちろん大事だけど、
「新規ファンの獲得」を一番望んでいるはずだからね。
#もちろん盗作など最低限のマナーやルールが守れていることは言うまでもなく。
だから
「今、イースに興味を持った人」
「今、イラストを頑張っている人」
「今、創作活動にトライしようと動いている人」
向けに呼びかけたワードが「イース絵師」だった感じです。

Since several people mentioned the “Ys Artist” yesterday,
I'll talk about that today.
Ys Artist
“What's that?”
“Ys Artist” is a term Hakokudou coined a few days ago.
(It is NOT a term or tag proposed or endorsed by Nihon Falcom)
To be honest, until 2-3 days ago, I hadn't given it a second thought about whether it would resonate at all.
It's simply a term Hakokudou's Hachi uses when asking artists for permission, saying:
“Please let me write today's blog post using your wonderful illustration!”
It's nothing more than a “designation” used to ask for permission.
There are some prerequisites, but keeping it vague and rough, it's roughly as follows:
“Likes Ys ※Posts about it on SNS, etc.”
“Has drawn Ys characters or similar”
That's what I had in mind when I called them that.
Incidentally,
“How many pieces have you drawn?”
“How many different characters have you drawn?”
“How many series have you covered?”
I didn't care about any of that at all (and couldn't possibly keep track anyway).
Considering the perspective of Nihon Falcom, the official licensor,
while retaining existing fans is certainly important,
they should be most eager to “attract new fans.”
#Of course, adhering to basic manners and rules goes without saying.
Therefore,
“People who are currently interested in Ys”
“People striving right now”
“People taking action to try something new right now”
That's the kind of audience the term “Ys Artist” was meant to reach.
