一次審査に合格
さて、今日はプライベートな話題です。ハチはこれまで同人活動を4年間ほど続けてきたのですが、趣味の範囲を超えることは一切ありませんでした。
そんな中プライベートで、とあるコンテストに応募したところ、一次審査を通過し、二次選考の機会を得ることができました。こちらはゲーム関連の取り組みですが、同人活動がベースになっている点がポイントです。
同人活動はエネルギー増幅装置
あくまで、自身の体験でしかないのですが同人活動は「エネルギー増幅装置」だなぁと、つくづく感じています。長く社会に揉まれていると「妥協」といった二文字が常にちらつき、体力や気力の減退とも戦わなければならず、活動力が年々失われる傾向にありました。
ところが、同人活動をはじめてからは「目がキラリ」とするようになり、自身の行動全体が息を吹き返してきたように思います。
しかも、そうするとなぜか周りの人たちにも影響がおよび「人間関係の広がり」「活動量の増加」などを徐々に感じられるようになりました。
もちろん、良いことばかりではないですし、がっかりすることも時にはありますが「好きなこと」はとにかくエネルギーを生み出すのだと、改めて感じた次第です。
いずれにしても、せっかくいただけた二次選考の機会、存分に活用させていただくつもりです。
また、結果がみえてきたらご報告いたしますね。

Passed the First Screening
Now, today's topic is personal. I've been doing doujin activities for about four years now, but it's never once gone beyond being a hobby.
Recently, I entered a private contest and passed the first round, earning a spot in the second round. This is a game-related project, but the key point is that it builds on my doujin activities.
Doujin Activities: An Energy Amplifier
This is purely my personal experience, but I've come to feel that doujin activities are truly an “energy amplifier.” After being battered by society for so long, the word “compromise” constantly loomed over me. I had to fight against declining physical and mental stamina, and my drive tended to diminish year by year.
However, since starting doujin activities, my eyes have started to sparkle again. It feels like my entire way of acting has been revitalized.
Moreover, somehow, this has also influenced the people around me. I've gradually started to feel an “expansion of my social circle” and an “increase in my activity levels.”
Of course, it's not all positive, and there are occasional disappointments, but I've been reminded that “doing what you love” simply generates energy.
In any case, I intend to make full use of this precious opportunity to advance to the second round of selection.
I'll also report back once the results are in.
