さて、本日もマニアックな話題に切り込んで参りたいと思います。
海外ファンは10歳以上若い？
あまり詳しいことは言えないのですが、個人的な所感として初代イースの「海外ファン」は、国内ファンに比べると10歳以上若い感じがしている。おそらく、この勘はかなり当たっている自信がある。
けど、そうすると「おかしい」と感じることがある。初代イースは自分が小学生か中学生くらいのゲームのはずなんだけど、時間軸が合わなくなってくる。となると、オリジナルというよりは「リメイク」でファンになり、結果として「初代イースにも興味が湧いた」方が多いということなのだろうか？

Are overseas fans 10+ years younger?
I can't go into too much detail, but personally, I feel like the “overseas fans” of the original Ys are at least 10 years younger than domestic fans. I'm pretty confident this hunch is spot on.
But then, something feels off. The original Ys should be a game from when I was in elementary or middle school, so the timeline doesn't quite add up. Does that mean most fans actually got into it through the “remakes” rather than the original, and only later became interested in the original Ys?
