まいど。八刻堂のハチでございます。本日は久々に夜の投稿です。今回はソーサリアンコミックネタの続きから「時代の流行」というテーマに触れてみたいと思います。元ネタは真鍋譲治先生が描かれた「天の神々たち」です。
頭に触覚の生えた関西弁の女魔道士
なかなか衝撃的な内容でした。ソーサリアンのキャラといえば一番人気の女ウィザード「クリスティ（デフォルト名）」の印象が強かったのですが、こちらの漫画に登場する女魔道士は
「関西弁」
「頭に触覚が生えている」
「阿婆擦れ（漫画内の表現）」
といった特徴がありました。
なるほど、あのゲームのイメージからここまで、キャラクターを昇華（飛躍）させることができるのか、と思わず唸ってしまいました。

時代の流行に合わせる
一通り最後まで読ませていただき、まずはじめに思ったのが「その時代の流行」をキャッチアップ（追いかける）することの大切さでした。
自分はこの漫画をはじめて読んだにも関わらず、
「どこか懐かしい」
「なじみのある表現」
といったイメージが、最初から最後までありました。
それもそのはずで「魔」をテーマとしたエンタメは当時たくさん流行っていたので、いろいろな切り口から作品が生まれていました。現代に置き換えると「異世界モノ」などがそれに相当するかと思います。
形を変えて歴史は繰り返す
ここで結びついたのが「アクスタ」や「レトロ」ブームです。少し前まで、若い世代の間では「昭和レトロ」というタグが流行っていると聞きました。今から35年前の学生たちの間では「古着」「ヴィンテージ」「1950〜60年代」といったファッションが流行っていたので、
「形を変えて歴史は繰り返すのだなぁ」
としみじみ感じたのでした。

Hey there. Hachi from Hakokudo here. It's been a while since my last nighttime post. This time, I'd like to continue the Sorcerian comic theme with a look at “Trends of the Era.” The original source material is “The Gods of Heaven” by artist Joji Manabe.

It was quite shocking content. When it comes to Sorcerian characters, the most popular female wizard “Christie (default name)” left a strong impression. However, the female mage appearing in this manga had the following characteristics:
* Speaks Kansai dialect
* Has antennae growing from her head
* Is a “granny-like old woman” (expression used in the manga)
I couldn't help but marvel at how the character had been elevated (transformed) so far from the image of that game.

Adapting to the trends of the era
After reading it through to the end, my first thought was the importance of catching up with (keeping pace to) the “trends of that era.”
Even though this was my first time reading this manga,
“a sense of nostalgia”
“familiar expressions”
were present from start to finish.
And no wonder—entertainment themed around “demons” was hugely popular back then, spawning works from various angles. In modern terms, I think “isekai” stories would be the equivalent.
Times repeat themselves in different forms
This connected me to the “axilla” and ‘retro’ booms. I heard that just a little while ago, the tag “Showa retro” was trending among younger generations. Thirty-five years ago, among students, fashion trends like “vintage clothing,” “vintage,” and “1950s-60s” styles were popular.
“Times change, but history repeats itself,”
I felt deeply moved.
