今日で不眠症ともオサラバかと思うと、嬉しいやら淋しいやら…
とにかく、まずは一段落でﾎｯとしております。
厚さ8mmじゃない
さて、ショップ名は「八刻堂」で「ハチを刻む」という意味。
8月8日にオープンで、ブログ記事も8時8分8秒に投稿といったこだわりよう。
それだったらふつう、
「アクスタの厚さも8mmでしょ？」
って、みんな思いませんでしたか？
ウチら（制作現場）はそう思ったのよ。
だけどこの子（アドル）たち、海外輸出前提の規格なの。
なんでかっていうと、実はお上からツルの一声があって、
「全世界へ！（いけーー！←心の声）」
って感じで、天下の大号令がくだっちゃったもんだからショーガナイ。
海外はここ数年、ピクセルアートやドット絵が大人気らしく、なんなら8bitカラーのペイントアプリとかも半年くらいで500万DL近くされたとか。#知らんけど
とにかく、色数も絞る方向に動いてるっぽい。
だったら（全世界に輸出なら）せっかくだし、
「厚さで弾丸も止めに行こう✨️」（謎の使命）
となったわけです。

本音
で、ここからが本音のお話。
海外輸出で一番気になったのは、
「アクスタ台座の誤飲（小さな子ども）」が浮上した訳です。
エンタメで命の危険を脅かすわけにはいかない。何より国によっては訴訟リスクもあるだろうから、それはそれで慎重にモノゴトを進めなくちゃいけない。
じゃあどうしよう？と。
そんなこんなで、あれこれ悩んでいたら急に天からアイデアが降ってきて
「ええい！こうなったら分厚くして、立たせてしまえ！（予算度外視だー）」
となったわけです。
ついでに高級感もなんとなく出るだろうから
「一石二鳥！」
だろうと。
（厳密には予算度外視だから、一石二鳥マイナス一鳥が正解）
しかも、よくよく考えたら台座分のスペースが少なくて済む、ということはつまり…!!
「僅かなスペースでも、複数キャラが沢山飾れるじゃないか..（じゅるり=経営陣の(^q^)の音）
そんなこんなで
「一石二鳥マイナス一鳥プラス一鳥」
な仕上がりで、極厚10mmアクスタが誕生したという訳でした！！めでたしめでたし

The shop name is “Hachikodo,” which means “carving bees.”
It opened on August 8th, and blog posts are scheduled for 8:08:08 AM—that's how meticulous we are.

That's what everyone thought, right?
We (the production team) thought so too.
But these guys (Adol) are made to overseas export standards.
Why? Because there was a sudden order from above,
“Go global! (Go for it! ← inner voice)”
and a grand decree was issued, so there's nothing we can do about it.
Apparently, pixel art and dot art have been super popular overseas in recent years, and even an 8-bit color painting app reportedly reached nearly 5 million downloads in just half a year. #I don't know
Anyway, it seems like they're moving toward limiting the number of colors.
So, if we're exporting worldwide, we might as well go all out,
“Let's stop bullets with thickness! ✨️” (Mysterious mission)
That's how it went.

The truth
Now, here's the real story.
The biggest concern with overseas exports was
the risk of children accidentally swallowing the acrylic stand base.
We can't risk endangering lives in entertainment. Plus, there's the risk of lawsuits depending on the country, so we have to proceed cautiously.
So what should we do?
After mulling it over, an idea suddenly came to me from above:
“Alright! Let's make it thicker and stand it up! (Budget be damned!)”
That's how it went.
Plus, it might give it a more luxurious feel,
“Two birds with one stone!”
I thought.
(Technically, since budget is no object, it's “two birds with one stone minus one bird.”)
Moreover, upon further consideration, the base takes up less space, which means...!!
“Even in a small space, we can display multiple characters... (drooling = the sound of the management team's ^q^)”
And so,
“Killing two birds with one stone minus one bird plus one bird”
was the result, and the ultra-thick 10mm acrylic stand was born!! Hooray!
