予感
仕事に追われつつも、隙間時間でワンダラーズフロムイースの取説を読み直していました。まー、昨日のドギへのお詫びの気持ちです（笑）
ワンダラーズフロムイースもイースⅠ･Ⅱと同じように、取説にはしっかりとストーリー（プロローグ）が描かれています。今回はドギの故郷である「レドモントの街」を訪問するところからはじまるのですが、その最後のシーンのフレーズに興味深いキーワードがでてきました。それが、
「予感」
です。
オープニングの前フリ？
ワンダラーズフロムイースの取説のストーリーの最後には、こう書かれていました。
「アドルには、予感がした」
「アドルは、まとわりつくようにする予感を振り払うと、急いでドギの後を追った」
・・・
・・・・
・・・・・
そう、お気づきの方も多いと思いますが、ワンダラーズフロムイースのオープニングでは、
「予感 =スティクス=(オープニング)」
というBGMが流れます。
ああ、なるほど。あのオープニングは、このストーリーの続きだったのか、と改めて気付かされたのでした。

A Premonition
Even while swamped with work, I've been rereading the manual for Wanderers from Ys in my spare moments. Well, it's kind of my apology to Dogi for yesterday (lol)
Just like Ys I and II, the manual for Wanderers from Ys also includes a full story (prologue). This time, it starts with visiting “Redmont Town,” Dogi's hometown. In the final scene of that part, an interesting keyword appeared. That word is:
“Premonition”

A setup for the opening?
At the end of the story in the Wanderers from Ys manual, it was written like this:
“Adol had a premonition.”
“Shaking off the premonition that clung to him, Adol hurried after Dogi.”...
.....
.........
Yes, as many of you may have noticed, during the opening of Wanderers from Ys,
the BGM “Premonition = Styx = (Opening)”
plays.
Ah, I see. That opening was actually a continuation of this story, I realized anew.

#What exactly is Styx? (The literal translation didn't quite click... Does it mean something like “adventure”?)
