ワンポイントで「R」を大きく
デザインにおいて、角の丸みのことを「Radius（レイディアス）=半径」、通称「R（アール）」と読んだりします。アクスタ形状を決めるときの大切な要素です。ソーサリアンアクスタは横向きの3.5頭身キャラクターのため、これまでのイースシリーズとは見え方が少し異なります。このため、各キャラにワンポイントで「R」サイズを大きくしている箇所があります。
後ろ髪の先端「R」を強く
キャラクターごとにワンポイントは異なるのですが、女ウィザードや女エルフは「後ろ髪の先端」などの「R」を強くすることで、女性らしさをアピールしています。女ファイターや女ドワーフは女性キャラではあるものの「戦い」のイメージもあるため、どの部分を強めのRにするか？など、それなりに悩んで制作しました（ぜひ、お手元に届いた時にじっくりとご覧ください✨️）
女性キャラは「斜め」ラインも多め
また、女性キャラはイースシリーズに引き続き「斜め」ラインも多めにしています。特に女エルフの斜めラインにはかなりこだわりました。わりと絶妙な角度で仕上がったと感じています。女ウィザードも意識的に斜めラインを強調する仕様としています。一方、男エルフや男ウィザードもローブをまとっているため斜めラインが元々多いのですが「斜めの角度を抑える」ことで女性キャラとの違いをしっかり出しています。

One Point with a Larger “R”
In design, the roundness of corners is called “Radius” (Radius = radius), commonly read as ‘R’. It's a crucial element when deciding the Acusta shape. Since Sorsarian Acusta features side-view 3.5-head-body-ratio characters, the look differs slightly from the Ys series. Therefore, each character has one point where the “R” size is made larger.
Strengthen the “R” at the tips of the back hair
While the specific point varies per character, the Female Wizard and Female Elf emphasize femininity by strengthening the “R” at points like the tips of their back hair. The Female Fighter and Female Dwarf, while female characters, also carry a “battle” image. We deliberated quite a bit on which parts to give a stronger R to during production (please take a close look when yours arrives ✨️).
Female characters also feature more diagonal lines
Furthermore, following the Ys series, female characters incorporate more diagonal lines. We paid particular attention to the diagonal lines on the female elf. We feel they achieved a rather exquisite angle. The female wizard also has a design that consciously emphasizes diagonal lines. On the other hand, male elves and male wizards naturally have more diagonal lines due to their robes, but we clearly differentiated them from the female characters by “reducing the angle of the diagonals.”
