1周年記念の御礼
はじめに、八刻堂を日頃から支えてくださっている日本ファルコム様、関係各社様、専門アドバイザー様、何よりアクスタを購入いただいた皆さま。
本日、令和8年8月8日に八刻堂は『1周年』を無事迎えることができました。心より御礼申し上げます。
そして明日から2年目に突入しますが、引き続き変わらぬご愛顧の程、何卒よろしくお願い致します。
1周年感謝祭のコンセプトや商品ラインナップについては、また改めて別記事にてご案内いたします。
今日は、これまでの取り組みと、これからの方向性についてお伝えしたいと思っています。
これまでの取り組み（総括）
八刻堂が活動をスタートしたのは、去年の8月8日。
8と8で「PC88の日」──この日以外にないと思って選びました。
そこから「10mm極厚アクスタ」や「ダイヤカットアクスタ」「ARミニゲーム機能付き」アクスタなどをご提供してきました。
これらのグッズは、ゲーム内に登場するドット絵を忠実に再現することを何より大切にしてきました。
一部には調整を加えたキャラクターもありますが（例：フィーナの金のペンダント、頭頂部の髪など）、あくまで原作にあるものをそのままお届けする、という考え方です。
1年以上前から、温めていたもの
一方で、まったく別の企画も動いていました。
冒頭のシルエット画像を「COMING SOON」として、去年の8月頃にご覧になった方もおられることと思います。
じつはこの企画、1年以上前から進めていたもので、さまざまな調整に時間を要していた次第です。
新たな一歩を踏む
そのシルエットの正体が、感謝祭のメインキャラクターの1つ「フレイムアドル」です。
日本ファルコム様ご了承のもと、特別企画として、八刻堂デザイン（PC88イースの装備画面のドット絵に準拠したデフォルメ仕様）にてご提供いたしました。
歴史ある作品に対して、とても大胆なご提案だったかと思います。いろいろなご意見があることも承知の上で、それでも新たな一歩を踏み出したことは、八刻堂にとって大きなチャレンジでした。
次の目的地へ
その目的を今、1つ達成することができました。
2年目以降は、さらに次の目的地を目指しています。
企画は水面下で進んでおり、関係各所と調整やテストを繰り返しながら、これからもワクワクできるような商品ラインナップを揃えて参りたいと思います。

Thank You for Our 1st Anniversary
First of all, I’d like to thank Nihon Falcom, our partner companies, our expert advisors, and above all, everyone who purchased our acrylic figures—all of you who support Hakokudo day in and day out.
Today, August 8, Reiwa 8, Hakokudo has successfully reached its “1st Anniversary.” We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
We’ll be entering our second year starting tomorrow, and we sincerely ask for your continued support.
We’ll provide more details on the concept and product lineup for the 1st Anniversary Celebration in a separate post.
Today, I’d like to share an overview of our efforts so far and our future direction.
Our Efforts to Date (Summary)
Hakkokudo began operations on August 8 of last year.
With two 8s, it’s “PC-88 Day”—we chose this date because we felt no other day would be more fitting.
Since then, we’ve offered products such as the “10mm Extra-Thick Acsta,” “Diamond-Cut Acsta,” and “AR Mini-Game-Enabled” Acsta.
With these merchandise items, our top priority has been to faithfully reproduce the pixel art that appears in the game.
While we’ve made some adjustments to certain characters (e.g., Feena’s gold pendant, the hair on the top of her head), our philosophy has always been to deliver the original artwork exactly as it appears in the source material.
A Project We’ve Been Nurturing for Over a Year
Meanwhile, we’ve also been working on a completely different project.
Some of you may have seen the silhouette image at the beginning labeled “COMING SOON” around August of last year.
In fact, we’ve been working on this project for over a year, and it took time to fine-tune various details.
Taking a New Step Forward
The identity of that silhouette is “Flame Adol,” one of the main characters for the Thanksgiving event.
With the kind permission of Nihon Falcom, we’ve released this as a special project featuring the Hakokudo design (a stylized version based on the pixel art from the equipment screen in *Ys for PC-88*).
I imagine this was a very bold proposal for such a historic title. While we’re well aware there will be a variety of opinions, taking this new step was a major challenge for Hachikokudo.
Toward Our Next Destination
We’ve now achieved one of our goals.
Starting in our second year, we’re aiming for our next destination.
Planning is proceeding behind the scenes, and through repeated coordination and testing with all relevant parties, we hope to continue offering a product lineup that will keep you excited.
